That’s where we came in.

SmartCasa’s homes are fast to build, sustainable by design, and made to last. Their model home—crafted from steel panels in a precision-controlled facility and assembled onsite—was ready to show the world what modular living could look like. But with limited brand presence and no existing marketing infrastructure, they needed more than a grand opening. They needed a full launch strategy.

At Charcoal, we were tasked with building that strategy—and everything that went with it.

More Than a Model Home

SmartCasa’s new show home wasn’t just a display of architecture—it was a turning point for the brand. It needed to attract buyers, spark conversation, and prove that modular builds weren’t just for cabins or cottages—they were a real solution for everyday living.

So our job was to make sure the rollout matched the product: sharp, sustainable, and undeniably smart.

Website, Content, Strategy—All Under One Roof

We started with the essentials: a custom-designed website at smartcasa.ca that tells the brand story and drives action. Clean visuals, strong messaging, and simple navigation made it easy for visitors to understand what SmartCasa offers—and how to take the next step.

We also developed and shot all photography in-house, capturing the home’s modern interior, smart use of space, and thoughtful finishing touches. These visuals became the foundation for the site, email campaigns, and social content.

But launching a product is about more than just good visuals—it’s about attention. So we crafted and distributed a press release, secured media coverage, and built SmartCasa’s brand presence in local and industry circles.

Behind the scenes, we also implemented Mailchimp, developed invite lists, and built out a series of targeted email campaigns to promote open houses and drive traffic to private showings.

Everything from strategy to execution was completed in-house by the Charcoal team.
